Annual Events
Memorial Day Service and Poppy Day
On Memorial Day, the Auxiliary will honor our fallen warriors by distributing vibrant red poppies, symbols of remembrance.
An honor guard from the Cannon Beach American Legion Post 168 will carry American flags as they lead the assembled attendees
from the Post on Hemlock Street to the Fir Street bridge in the morning.
On the bridge, reflective words and prayers will be spoken about those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
A trumpet will play, "Taps" in solemn tribute. Then participants may drop flowers into Ecola Creek in memory of veterans, family members and friends.
Participants may bring flowers. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Breakfast on Sandcastle Day
On Cannon Beach's annual Sandcastle Day, the Auxiliary will offer a hearty breakfast to kick off the day's fun activities.
The 4th of July Parade
The residents and businesses of Cannon Beach and nearby areas express their love for our country
through one of the best parades in the area. Visiting veterans are welcome to join the parade.
The American Legion sincerely appreciates our community's support
and participation, which makes our events memorable.
